My Pen Pal我的笔友

　　I have a pen friend, Li Xiang. Li Xiang is twelve years old and he comes from Beijing. We like the same magazine and get the information from it. He likes playing football as I do. We share our experience about playing football. For example, I was punished by mother because I was late for home after class. He once got No.1 of a football match in his city. Besides, we talk much about football clubs and stars. Sometimes, we discuss a passage in that magazine we both like. It’s really funny.

　　As I learn more and grow up gradually, I change in many aspects. My teachers say I study harder and my parents say I am more sensible than before. As for me, I want to learn more in school and be a good boy to make my parents happy. Now, I am more focused on lessons and finish my homework actively. I know that only by working hard in study can I get a bright future. At home, I often help my mother in housework. I want to be more independent so that I can take good care of myself. I don’t want my parents worry too much about me. Besides, I like reading now. I realize books can be my friend, too. It is really interesting.

　　There are many holidays in a year. Among them, the holiday I like most is the Children’s Day. Children’s Day is on the June First. In school, we have many activities to celebrate it. For example, our school often holds a garden party on that day. We can play various games and get awards if we win. It’s the most popular activity in my school. Besides, we can watch movies or hold a small party in our class. We often buy some snacks and fruits to eat. It’s really interesting. It’s a holiday for fun. We enjoy it very much.
